Students can apply now for positions with OU Student Media for the spring semester.
Student Media includes The Oklahoma Daily, the Daily's Web site, features publications (including a yearbook) and a paid student advertising staff. At the Oklahoma Daily, all positions except for editor-in-chief are renewed each semester. Most of the new section editor positions have been filled, but reporting, layout, photo and copy editing positions are still available.
"I've learned so much more working here than I have in any journalism class," Caitlin Harrison, spring managing editor, said. "You just learn the ins and outs of writing. I've gained so much confidence with learning how to talk to and interview people."
Applications are available in the Daily's newsroom in Copeland Hall. They are due Monday, Nov. 30.
